During this ‘BASICS Radio’-workshop for (potential) new media makers you’ll learn the ins- and outs of our radio studio and how to make your own radio show.

Do you have an exciting radio idea? A new format? A show that has not been made, but urgently needs to surf the radio waves? We’ll support your ambition. In this 3h workshop you’ll learn the skills to get started.

Our team will guide you through the basic competences: how to prepare a show, what are the building blocks for a good radio show, how do all the buttons work? How to record and upload your program etc.

You’ll get a short introduction and after that the game is on. By the end of the workshop the group will have created their own show.

The workshop is free for (potential) volunteers and Howest-students. €5 for others. Payment will be arranged at the beginning of the session. Registration is required.
